The Dujac Fils & Pere 2005 Chambolle-Musigny displays a lovely, bitter-sweet bouquet of flowers, herbs and smoke-tinged black raspberry. Ripe yet faintly tart in the mouth, it continues to exude floral essences (almost surely a case of whole-cluster vinification reinforcing terroir tendency) finishing with satisfying length, both the anticipated carnal side of Chambolle and the wine’s tannins sublimated.
